Restaurant
Our food is one of the many reasons that many of our regular guests return and under the guidance of Head Chef Douglas Gillon, who has been with us for 37 years, you will soon see why! When we first bought the hotel in 1982, Douglas moved from sous chef at the Claremont to head chef at The Cliffs and since then our reputation for food has been ever increasing.
At dinner we serve a three course meal and there is enough choice for everyone with seven starters, four main courses and seven sweets to choose from and wherever possible we use local suppliers for our produce. We have several window tables where you will be able to enjoy stunning views over the Irish Sea and breath-taking sunsets at dusk.
As a family hotel, children are welcome to eat from our evening menu or choose from our children’s menu, which features a colouring and activity sheet.
Our new self-service sweets have proved a hit for 2012! Help yourself to whatever you would like for dessert after each evening dinner. And don’t forget to try out our new ‘chefs signature dish’ this Winter!
